The SECOND SATURDAY of every month is ART GALLERY NIGHT in NORTHEAST LOS ANGELES. Galleries, artist studios, businesses, shops and restaurants open their doors as the streets fill with shoppers, diners, patrons and interested pedestrians.
Bob Taylor Properties is proud to celebrate NELA’s thriving art community by opening our doors each month to host a POP-UP ART GALLERY displaying work by some of our neighborhood’s most talented and creative artists..
For July, we are holding over our exhibit of amazing museum pieces by internationally recognized artist Rafael Matias. Matias is best known for his large scale surrealistic mosaic paintings in beads, glass tiles, and sculptures.
Also on exhibit: Jessica Ayala, Miriam Jackson and whimsical custom jewelry handmade by Lilian Mercado.
And we are pleased to host great live music out on the sidewalk. The Carlos Guitarlos Trio delivers Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Americana and Rockin’ Roots brought forth from a lifetime of experience and hard living.
